Basic Education Services
This performance area entails the pursuit of the policy of ensuring access to quality education and skills for all in order to establish a skilled, conscious and innovative community in Maridi. This entails following about 3 tracks:
The first track entails building and establishing model primary and secondary schools which provide quality education from the foundation level to the secondary level.
The second track entails building awareness in Maridi and influencing the policy decisions to ensure that education in Maridi is compulsory for every child and any lack of support and encouragement to children at the household and community levels must be considered as a contravention of the law and therefore punishable.
The third track entails promotion and establishment of opportunities for alternative forms of learning such as vocational training, adult accelerated learning and life skills development in order to contribute towards increased in skills, production, innovation and growth.
