Training on Knowledge Generation for Skills Innovation

This performance area involves the establishment and operationalization of Maridi Institute for Research and Training (MIRT) which is a capacity building and knowledge-generating research institution. AMF therefore provides training and adaptive research programs through the Maridi Institute for Research and Training. The overall goal to which this Institute contributes is increased capacities and skills to stimulate creativity and innovation towards sustainable production and community development.

The Institute aims to achieve this through the following strategic objectives:
To manage research capabilities and develop a data base for use and for knowledge generation and analysis. This is applied for the benefit of the communities, various levels of Government, Non-Governmental Organizations, and the private sector.
To develop institutional capacity and grow a human resource pool with skills to support in community development.
