Health Services
This performance area takes the form of establishing a healthy community with reduced prevalence of preventive diseases, increased access to health facilities and attentions, and improved health awareness and practices. This performance area entails undertaking four (4) intervention tracts.
The first intervention tract is Primary Health Care Services which is holistic in that it entails the integration of nutrition services, good health practices and good environmental management into Primary Health Care Program. AMF believes that “good health is a product of good nutrition, good practices and good environment.”
The second intervention tract is continues building of health awareness in order to improve health practices and knowledge. AMF thus continues to rally household members to undertake this health awareness building as an important endeavor.
The third intervention tract is the establishment of a Medical Center which offers improved quality medical services to the people of Maridi.
The fourth intervention tract is the pursuit of a rigorous research in the areas of health.
